In minting, coining or coinage is the process of manufacturing coins using a kind of stamping which is now generically known in metalworking as “coining”. The Singapore Mint has won multiple international awards and its rising stature has garnered much interest internationally. The mint has been appointed by issuing authorities around the world for the production of their coins and this time Brunei has appointed The Singapore Mint to produce their limited edition 50th anniversary coin. We are honoured to be able to capture the manufacturing process of this beautiful and symbolic coin.
